The Birch panel is supported by a warp-resistant cradle made from kiln-dried New Zealand Pine and reinforced with two rigid cross braces, one vertical and one horizontal, for added stability. Its lightweight yet sturdy construction will not sag like canvas and is easy to hang for gallery presentations. The panel can be displayed framed or unframed and also provides a firm archival surface for mounting linen, cotton canvas, sanded pastel paper, or watercolor paper.
