Capture Glowing Golden Sunsets With Yellow Orange
SoHo Urban Artist Handmade Soft Pastel Block in Yellow Orange delivers rich fully pigmented color with an exceptionally soft velvety feel. Its wide block shape makes it easy to cover more surface than a traditional slim pastel, whether you are toning paper, building broad areas of color, or creating expressive painterly marks. The fine smooth consistency allows dense color to go down with very little pressure.
Handcrafted for artists who enjoy layering and blending, this soft pastel works beautifully for everything from broad strokes to glowing golden-orange accents and smooth color transitions. The rich warm tone of Yellow Orange is especially useful for creating radiant sunset skies, sunlit autumn landscapes, and colorful floral compositions. Its bright golden character also works well for capturing marigold blossoms, adding warmth to still life arrangements, and creating luminous reflections across water surfaces. Yellow Orange blends beautifully with bright yellows, warm reds, and golden ochres for natural transitions between brilliant sunlight and deeper orange shadows. Its warm color also creates striking contrast against cool blues and deep violets, making it especially effective for emphasizing light and creating expressive focal points. Each block is individually handmade, so slight variations in size and shape are part of its unique character. The pastel measures approximately 0.56" x 1.3" x 1.53" and comes in a protective foam-padded box for convenient storage and easy access.
