Constructed from 100% virgin alpha cellulose fibers, the board is acid free and lignin free throughout the surface core and backing to help prevent deterioration and discoloration over time. The deeply pigmented black surface delivers strong visual presence while resisting fading and bleeding.
Buffered with calcium carbonate to maintain an alkaline reserve, this matboard neutralizes environmental pollutants while the bright white core produces sharp clean bevels that remain white year after year.
