The Crescent Select 4 ply Matboard in Black Belt delivers an intense rich black tone designed for professional framing that demands bold contrast and dependable conservation protection. Measuring 32" x 40", this conservation grade matboard is widely used by artists and framers for high impact presentation and long term preservation.
Made from 100% virgin alpha cellulose fibers, the board is acid free and lignin free throughout the surface core and backing to help prevent yellowing and deterioration. Depending on the version, it features either a bright white core for sharp bevels or a solid black UltiBlack core for a seamless edge.
Buffered with calcium carbonate to maintain an alkaline reserve, the deeply pigmented surface resists fading and bleeding while helping protect artwork from environmental acids.
