Build Your Best Work On A Stronger Surface

Da Vinci Pro Birch Wood Panels 20" x 24" with a 1-5/8" deep profile give artists a strong, rigid surface for creating artwork meant to last. The fine-grained Birch face is carefully sanded for a smooth working surface and can be primed with your choice of gesso, PVA, or rabbit skin glue before painting. Unlike flexible canvas, the solid wood surface will not sag, making it an excellent choice for techniques that benefit from firm support.

The Birch panel is supported by a warp-resistant cradle made from kiln-dried New Zealand Pine and reinforced with one rigid cross brace for added stability. Lightweight yet sturdy, the panel can be displayed framed or unframed and is easy to hang for gallery presentations. It also provides a dependable archival surface for mounting linen, cotton canvas, sanded pastel paper, or watercolor paper.
