Flexible, Water-Based Inks for Soft, Vibrant Fabric Prints
Speedball FLEX™ Fabric Screen Printing Inks are designed to deliver bold, opaque color with a soft, flexible finish—perfect for printing on stretchable fabrics like cotton, polyester, rayon, linen blends, and synthetics. Unlike many fabric inks that dry with a stiff, plasticky feel, FLEX inks remain soft to the touch and move naturally with the fabric without cracking or peeling.
These water-based inks provide strong opacity on both light and dark fabrics and can be mixed to create custom colors. Once properly heat set, FLEX inks retain their rich color and flexibility for the life of the garment.
For best results, allow the ink to dry overnight before heat setting. Rushing the process may lead to undercured ink or poor adhesion. Always use parchment paper as a cover sheet when pressing to protect your heating element and ensure even heat distribution.
Heat Setting Guidelines:
- 100% Cotton: 300°F for 1 minute
- Triblend: 300°F for 1 minute
- Polyester Blend: 300°F for 40 seconds
