Urea for Enhanced Dye Performance and Richer Color
Urea is an essential additive for artists who want deeper, more saturated color in their dye projects. As a humectant, it draws in moisture to slow the drying process, giving dyes more time to bond with fabric fibers. This extended reaction time results in stronger, more consistent color, ideal for tie-dye, hand painting, and direct dye applications.
Often used with sodium alginate to thicken dyes for screen printing or surface design, urea improves flow and helps create smooth, even results. It is a valuable addition for anyone working with fiber-reactive dyes and looking for professional, fade-resistant color performance.
