Soda Ash Fixer for Long-Lasting Color with Fiber Reactive Dyes
Soda Ash—also known as sodium carbonate or washing soda—is a must-have for artists working with fiber reactive dyes like Procion MX. This mild alkali activates the chemical bonding between dye and cellulose-based fabrics, locking in brilliant color that won’t wash out over time. From tie-dye to immersion and machine dyeing, Soda Ash is essential for getting vibrant, permanent results.
Whether you’re pre-soaking fabric or adding it directly to your dye bath, Soda Ash makes all the difference. It helps the dye attach to natural fibers like cotton, linen, and rayon, giving you consistent color payoff across your textile projects.
